The Noctua NH-U9S-chromax-black is the best gaming cooler for your PO3-640 desktop, allot of Acer community members have upgraded their PO3-640 desktops to this cooler and it works 100% and has reduced temps by at least 35c. This dry cpu cooler is much more efficient than a single fan AIO water cooler and is as good as a twin fan AIO water cooling system (which btw will not fit into your PO3-640 case,) that is why the Noctua NH-U9S-chromax-black cpu cooler is the best cooler.

I do agree with you that Acer should have fitted a water-cooling cpu system like they do to other Predator Orion desktops but due to the retail price of your PO3-640 desktop, Acer doesn't have an AIO cpu water cooler for your desktop, and your desktop has the basic cpu cooler. Upgrade to the Noctua NH-U9S-chromax-black as it only retails for USD $95.00 as after fitting this cpu cooler, your desktop will perform allot cooler in gaming and high end software, also increase the ram capacity and do a Crucial System Scan or look at this suggested Crucial ram for your Acer Predator PO3-640 RAM & SSD Upgrades and what the top spec ram are, then make sure that your PO3-640 bios is up to date and all Win-11 windows updates are up to date, also the Intel drivers are updated together with the NVidia graphics drivers and playing games through the NVidia GeForce Experience software, doing all this will ensure that your desktop will performs at its peak performance as intended by Acer, so make sure that you have done all that. Good luck.

You need to either clean your cpu thermal from dust or check if your fan is working 100% as your i7-12700 or i7-12700F cpu should not be reaching those high temps, or better still, change the cpu cooer to a higher end gaming cooler like the NH-U9S chromax.black that most community members have upgraded their PO3-640 desktops cpu coolers to, this cooler comes oem with one fan but you can upgrade it to having two fans, which will be even better for gaming.

Beside nh-u9s-chromax-black is there any other one i can put in to make it look nice RGB or liquid fan ?

When i don't game just running nexflix etc or keep it on idle the temperature is around 38-50

i have stopped playing game since yesterday since i saw the temperature went that high before it damage my computer so i want to solve the problem.

    Hi thanks for the reply,
My computer is very clean i always take a good care of my computer and i clean it often as you can see on the picture i have attached.
The fan on the computer is working very well i have tested it i don't see any problem with the fan at the moment like you said i maybe need to upgrade my cooling? that might be the problem it will be great if acer did test these computer before selling it….
i normally just use my computer just to watch Netflix and yesterday i just wanted to test the computer out might get back into MW3 on steam so i bought the game and downloaded i played the game around
10-15minutes i got shocked when i saw the CPU temperature was 100 so i stopped playing give it a cool down and try it again and it still happen from that time i have not been playing games since i don't want to damage the computer until this problem has solved.

on idle the temperature is around 35-47 and i'm not living in a hot country living in UK.

As you said maybe upgrading the cooler? nh-u9s-chromax-black?
is there anything else beside that's like RGB? liquid cooler fan ?or anything else?

Thanks hope to hear back from you.
    James

the main problem i see is that you are gaming with your fans in auto mode. try gaming mode and that will bring down the temps some. or it should but will not fix the problem.

but as Steve stated you will need a new CPU cooler anyways, all acer desktops come with subpar cooling unless you live in Alaska and can keep your pc cool with cold air while playing.

and I'm not joking ambient room temperatures, they matter the most, but also not running the fans on 100% matters when gaming.

most users replace the stock fans and stock cooler with Noctua products because of how quiet they run but they offer no RGB-ARGB so if you like lights you will need to but from another manufacturer.

i have already try putting it on gaming mode setting and the fan does spin faster and it cool down to around 92-97 still the same almost hitting 100 if i game for like 30-1hour but i didn't try yet it will be 100 for sure.

but anyways i'm looking for a cooler somthing like twin fan AIO water cooling system is there any suggestion you can point me too? i don't mind doing abit of Modification since i will put the cooler ontop the case inside the case but i know they might not be any screw to month it i might use cable ties.

hi thanks for the reply again i understand i will need a new cooler anyways i don't mind doing abit of Modification to hold the new cooler using cable ties for ( twin fan AIO water cooling system ) will you able to point me to a good one ?

i can see i got space inside the case right at the top i don't mind doing abit of modification to get it too hold on anyways i have been doing some research i heard the twin fan AIO water cooling system is a good cooling system then the normal one or Noctua NH-U9S since the water cooling one keep your computer nice and cool if i'm correct.

yeah, your case will not work with a 240mm AIO cooling system. and a 120mm AIO isn't as good as a dual fan air cooler.

so, you have 2 choices, a new case and that will require a new MB and PSU because the 3000 series cases only work with the supplied MB and PSU because of the front panel layout and proprietary PSU attachments and that MB will not work in any other case many have tried but because of its strange design made only for the 3000 cases it won't work. and the PSU is made for that specific MB and case also.

or a dual fan air cooler than will fit in that case you have, also many other users stated the 3000 series comes with a glass and vented side panel and they all prefer the vented for lower temps.

so, you have options just no simple and easy ones unless other users of a 3000 series can help you more than i can. i went with a 5000 because it offers much more easy options for upgrading EVERYTHING in the case.

I'm not a fan of water cooling when air cooling can do just as good of a job for the most part. but that is your choice in the end, i can only tell you what i have and have done for my 5000 that works best for me and my setup.

if it's a 120mm then most likely no, i always go with dual fan air cooled over a 120mm AIO any day.

well do you really feel like drilling 100-500 holes for ventilation? what's the plan, cutting that whole area out? it looks like a 240mm might fit up top.

Save yourself a lot of trouble and just get that Noctua. With a Dremel and drill you can do almost anything for sure, but you seem to forget one thing. How are you going to power and control an AIO? Of course there are ways to do this, but…

Just get the Noctua everyone is recommending.

Forum search gives you few options to choose from. NH-U9S and its chromax.black version are very popular upgrades for these small boxes. I belive you can also use NH-D9L as well.

Then some say that even bigger NH-D12L can be used. See the following thread for more info.

The installation is easy and there is no need to remove the motherboard. All you need is thermal paste and new set (4) of screws. I belive that they are M3x10 or x12 machine screws. Forum has quite a few installation tutorials with pictures for 620, 630 and maybe even 640 models.

After replacing the cooler you may want to swap the case fans as well for better and quieter airflow.
