I had a previous issue with my laptop that required me to completely reinstall windows 11. I am now missing multiple of my drivers and adapters. I was told to download one I'll leave below but I don't know how to do it.

    What is your laptop model number, as "missing multiple of my drivers and adapters" and not having the WLAN card and its driver installed is a big problem, as you must have installed Win-11 without an internet connection or updated drivers, hence and why you have all the drivers missing.

    The WLAN card and driver should have been installed while the Win-11 installation was in progress at "Let's connect you to a network" stage, and if you didn't do that, then you must have installed Win-11 without the internet and the windows installation would be 50% complete. Give us more details of what you did, as your question is vague😀

    If you did the above then do this:

    1. When you get to the "Let's connect you to a network" screen, press Shift + Fn + F10 for Acer laptops (or Shift + F10 in other laptops) to bring the cmd prompt up, then point the touchpad prompt to Sysytem32 and click and then type: taskmgr > Enter;
    2. When Task Manager opens at the opening screen which is > Process do this.
    3. At Task Manager > Process > Locate the "Network Connection Flow" > Right-click on it and select End Task.
    4. Now go back to the "Let's connect you to a network" screen, don't worry if the installation has progressed to the next screen, just proceed to finish the installation.
    5. When the installation is finished go to Device Manager and in the list of uninstalled components there will be the uninstalled Wireless Card (or similar description saying Newtwork) for your laptop.
    6. Right click Wireless Card and install the MTK driver for your laptop, as that driver should install and make your laptop card be recognized and work to update all the drivers.

    Unfortunately, Microsoft have changed the automatic detection of the WLAN or LAN drivers in Win-11 23H2 and with a Clean installation you need to provide this driver through the installation process at the "Let's connect you to a network" as the driver or your card is not loaded automatically for your PC to connect to the internet, which allot of users are having allot of problems with and the above is one solution. Good luck and hope this helps you out if you are having that problem, as I just encountered that problem with a clean install of Win-11 23H2 with a an Acer Swift X Swift X SFX16-52G of my friend and it was a real pain to solve.

    hey, Thanks for your reply. I did install windows 11 without internet connection but I also bypassed that screen because I thought I needed to to fix the wifi issues. when I check my device manager it is all WAN monitors and I installed windows 11 through a USB drive. Do I follow the same process?

    Your Aspire A314-23P laptop does not have a LAN Ethernet (RJ-45) port just like the Acer Swift X SFX16-52G laptop that I did above, which is a port that connects to an Ethernet 10/100/1000 based network with an R-45 cable, so you need to follow my guide above when you get to the installation section at "Let's connect you to a network" of Win-11 Version 23H2 that you installed without an internet.

    Your laptop WLAN is not installed and has no internet connection, you need to look in Device Manager if you have a Network Card or similar heading component that hasn't got a driver and then you need to install the correct WLAN MTK Wireless card driver (I don't know which you have? As this laptop has two different models, model #: MTK7663 or model #: MTK7902 so find out) which LAN driver is for your appropriate card so that your WLAN will work, and your laptop can connect to the internet, and you can finish the Win-11 installation. That is what I’ve shown you above and what you need to do, as it works 100%. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
