Nitrosense 4 for Nitro 5 AN515-58 or below Looking Nitrosense will be compatible to previous nitro

This Nitrosense version is exclusive for Nitro 16, Nitro 17 and other Latest Nitro models,
it looks insane and modern compare to old Nitrosense Version. However i tried to install this Nitrosense 4 in my Nitro 5 AN515-58 many times from Nitro 16 and 17 Download page but no luck, its not compatible with my Model, Nitro 5 AN515-58 is 2022 model, is this Awesome Looking Nitrosense will be compatible to previous model Nitro in the future?, is Acer has plan bringing this Nitrosense to older models? i hope so. I wantt to know Acer community, Thank you. 😅

Hi,

You need a more powerful GPU for NS 4 to work, unfortunately, the graphics card in AN515-58 may not be suitable, which graphics card you have in your model?

Why it needs powerful GPU to work? its just a software and i believe acer can bring this NS 4 to any Nitro model if they want 😅 , btw i have 3070 AN515-5

I think you need RTX 40 series graphics card for NS 4 to work but I am not sure about the reason why your model need a powerful graphics card, please contact Acer Support centre in your region for more clarification.

it's a corporate thing, new hardware = new software if they keep supporting older hardware with new stuff then less of reason to buy newer products. But it also probably involves more R&D which would be a bit of a waste of time for them as tech needs to keep up with newer hardware and not other way around. Might not be as simple as simple software 1 line code edit based on how different NS4 is.

Yeah i know, even a simple "Save Button" has multiple line of code and state management and logic, it can take 30 to 50 line of codes (also depends on your text formatting, mine is prettier printWith 200), haha
the thing is the newer Nitros are successor of AN515-58-xxxx models which is less than 1.5 year, and it is good to see that Acer is bringing their latest software to older models or atleast to the successor of these models. hehe.

@n77nikhil and also in response to your “Corporate” thing, all corporate knows that if a customer who just bought their less than 1.5 year old product is very unlikely that the same customer will buy their latest product with upgraded features or hardware specifications because its new and has the brand new softwares installed in it. But that customer will be glad if the corporate who made the product he bought will make that product feel new and never left behind.


Like what Apple is doing to their products, even if its old they are bringing the latest softwares and updates to their products, I am sure that customers will be loyal to those companies that bringing a Good Customer Experience like me, you and everybody in the world and I thank you. 😂
