Acer Predator helios 18 All drivers are updated and it suddenly stopped without an update.

Howdy fellas. After getting my order canceled by Best Buy 5 times due to availability issues, I finally purchased this model for $2,500. Very disappointing because today, less than a week of having it, the keyboard backlight suddenly stopped working. I had turned the laptop on and it was working fine. I went downstairs to mow the lawn and go back to it, nothing. I tried function + the two f keys, no response. I tried predator sense, nothing. I've rebooted the laptop several times and the backlight works while booting, up to the pin/password windows page and for approximately 10 seconds after loading the desktop view then suddenly turns off and won't work again till next reboot. Has anyone experienced this issue and is there a known work around? All drivers are updated and it suddenly stopped without an update taking place.

Send it back to the retailer or to Acer Services in your country and demand a new laptop, you have 2-years Acer warranty.

That is for sure always an option. I also have Best Buy insurance. I wanted to know if there was a workaround because I'm trying to avoid being without a laptop for God knows how long if it goes back to service or if availability issues become a problem again in the case they issue a brand new one.
