Hello. I have acer nitro an 517-55, upgraded it up to 16gb of ram. I'm thinking to buy an external monitor for this laptop, but idk if this laptop would handle 27 inch 1440p monitor. I have a few options for both 24 inch 1080p, and 27 inch 1440p monitors. Both 144hz and over, and ips panels. I'd buy a 27 inch 1440p, but idk if 4gb rtx 3050 is capable of handling that. Any answer is appreciated

Oops, sorry. That was my keyboard auto correction mistake.

I was trying to say that you can go for DPort monitor if your laptop has. But it is not in your case

I know display port is better then hdmi. HDMI is supported on more devices, DisplayPort, which was designed for computers, has a few technical advantages. They are not that game changing.

You can Go for any good HDMI Port monitor that has all those features you want.

(Most of new monitor has Dport and hdmi both so in future you can also connect it with dport. If you get new laptop/PC with d-port)

YOU SHOULD BUY GOOD 1080P MONITOR BECAUSE RTX 3050 IS 1080P mid range GAMING GPU. GOING FOR HIGHER THAN 1080P CAN BE USELESS BECAUSE RTX 3050 WON'T BE ABLE TO HANDLE NEW GAMES ON HIGH RESOLUTION (ABOVE 1080P)
