Acer Predator Helios 16 PH16-71-74UUCan I turn off F4 key? It exits me to a locked desktop mid-game.

I love my Acer Predator Helios 16 (PH16-71-74UU series), EXCEPT for one thing. The F4 function key — which I sometimes accidentally hit when trying to turn up the sound with F3 — sends me to a locked Windows desktop.

To get back to my game, I have to enter my password, even though I automatically log in when I turn the computer on (that was a pain to sort out, too).

What is the purpose of this annoying (for a gamer) key, and is there any way I can turn it off permanently? How can I avoid havin to sign in once on this stupid screen?

Please help! I've looked everywhere for an answer, to no avail.
