Swift 3 N21C2 SF314-512-53E3 not turning on, orange light is on when turned on blue light comes

When i connect the charger, the orange light for battery blinks slowly, but when i try to press the power button, there's blue light and the keyboard lights up for like 3 seconds before it doesn't turn on. No reaction from monitor. i've tried the battery reset thing and the press power button for 30sec thing. Crying in pain, finals are in a week and i have a lot of assignments to hand in. pls help😭😭😭

A slow amber blink on the battery light says the battery is really low:

Try plugging it in and leaving it charging until you get the full battery indication to verify the battery and charger are working. If the charger is bad and the battery too low it will act like that, it will try to turn on and realize there isn't enough power to run, so it will shut itself off. If the charger isn't working then most USB-C chargers that provide 65W of power or more will work. A phone charger will not, it doesn't give enough power.

thank you so much!! turns out somehow the outlet didn't provide enough voltage to charge my laptop but enough for my ipad!!

Yes, phone chargers definitely don't work for laptops. :)
