RAM Speed - acer aspire a315 57g 34qp, if I install 16Gb 3200Mhz will default to slower onboard bus

Hi, I have an acer aspire a315 57g 34qp it looks like it has 4Gb Ram on board and 4Gb ram in a dim slot. I also see that the Processor supports 3200mhz, So my question is if I install a 16Gb 3200Mhz will it default to the slower onboard bus @2666Mhz?

Yes, it will downclock to 2666MHz, so I would suggest you buy a 2666MHz memory module.
