Wondering if it is possible to install a WWAN Card in an Acer Nitro AN-515-58, possibly in the extra m.2 Slot?
Thank You

NO, the Nitro 5 AN515-58 does not have a specific SIM card slot or has provisions for a Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) card inside, as in the AN515-58 the M.2 SSD slot is not suitable for a WWAN card to be plugged into it directly, as it won't work, it may be possible for you to use a WWAN/SIM card adaptor via the USB port, like below. For this, you will require a WWAN card and its appropriate software for the OS to recognize the WWAN card that connects to a mobile network through a SIM card with a suitable data plan and plugs into your laptop via a USB port.

Note: The availability of Acer WWAN/SIM card laptops availability is location dependent, as different countries have different requirements for support of cellular services, so it might NOT be possible to get the WWAN/SIM card system implemented in your location, so be aware of that and check with your mobile providers or Acer in your country.

The list of Acer devices with an embedded eSIM: – ACER Spin 7 – ACER Swift 3 (Ubigi already preinstalled) – ACER Swift 7 (Ubigi already preinstalled) – TravelMate P2 – TravelMate Spin P4 – TravelMate P6. – ACER Spin 7 – ACER Swift 3 (Ubigi already preinstalled) – ACER Swift 7 (Ubigi already preinstalled) – TravelMate P2 – TravelMate Spin P4

This is one such USB card that is available on eBay and they are cheap and portable, if you want to turn your AN515-58 into a mobile platform. There are others around so search the web.
