Hello, I want to be able to write with a pen on my laptop. Is it possible with the Nitro 5 (which is a non-touchscreen. Model: AN515-57)? I did some research on it but all I'm coming up with is unclear and confusing info dated several years back, so really don't wanna waste anymore time trying to get to the bottom of this. Thanks for any help!

You can get a pen tablet instead. The LCD on the Nitro 5 is just a normal one, with no touch or pen.

Apparently, you need the MS Whiteboard app to draw with a pen: on a non-touch screen: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/use-the-pen-menu-in-windows-701b15d4-2dcc-1aec-cf2b-370c56e8baf4
    I read this also:
"If you have a digital pen that connects to your laptop via USB or Bluetooth, you can use it with the Windows pen menu. The pen menu is a feature that lets you access your favorite apps with a tap of your pen. You can also use the pen menu to collaborate in Whiteboard, a freeform, intelligent canvas for real time ideation, creation, and collaboration. You can also take screenshots with the Snipping tool, which allows you to capture any part of your screen and draw on it. To enable the pen menu, right-click the Windows taskbar and click on Show Windows Ink Workspace button. Then, tap the screen with your pen or select the pen menu in the corner of the taskbar. You can add or remove shortcuts to your pen menu by selecting up to four apps."

Thanks guys. I decided to go with @AnhEZ28 suggestion for a pen tablet. This was the best choice for me being that it provides more work space and almost the same price as buying a stylus pen alone.
