Acer XR382CQK Driver for windows 11 When it boots up this monitor blinks on for a second

I use my Acer XR382CQK monitor as my primary monitor of 2. My computer is a Dell XPS 8950. When it boots up this monitor blinks on for a second then shows going through all of the inputs and then will come on. I assume I need a driver.

    Nope, what's happening is the monitor is not seeing the signal from the Dell quickly enough, so it checks for signals on the other ports. Either wait a second before turning on the monitor after turning on your computer or allow it to do the search since it will likely find the signal the second time through.

    Hi @Greybeard1 do what Billsey tells you, no drivers are necessary.
    Is the same thing happening with the HDMI and DP connection?

    I have tried another DP and hdmi cable. same result. Is there a way to get my monitor to recognize the signal faster?

    You can choose a lower resolution with the same refresh rate or the same resolution with a lower refresh rate.

    Neither changed the problem. I guess my old monitor doesn't like my newer computer ha ha Thanks for trying

    Yes, as I said, it's an issue with the computer not being fast enough to initialize the video, not an issue with the monitor not being fast enough. Either just wait a second before turning the monitor on or let it do the cycle.
