What EXACTLY did you find out is the problem with the CPU? Describe what you found out.

CPUs & GPUs are usually soldered to the mainboard. They can't easily be replaced. Special tools and intensive labor are needed. Costs would likely exceed the cost of a new mainboard.

That Nitro laptop that you have sounds like its an AN515-55 laptop? And if the cpu has any connection problem that makes it unfunctional then the cpu needs to be either refloated or removed and its mainboard connections cleaned from solder and the cpu needs to be reballing and resoldered, which is a big job and a specialist job that mot many technicians do that needs special tools to be done correctly, if your cpu is faulty and needs changing then you need to buy a new mainboard.

The mainboards for an AN515-55 Acer dosent list and hasent got any part numbers for in the service guide, so I can't give you a straight Acer part number reference, you will need to take this reference number from your old mainboard. To get a new mainboard, search the web and see what they cost or search your local area or country or the web for a technician that specializes in refloating, reballing and fixing cpu connections.

Please state the reason why you took it to the repair shop. In other words, please explain what happened to the laptop before you decided to take it to the repair shop.

    (1) Was laptop sitting on hard surface like desk when this happened? Or on soft surface like bed?

    (2) What is the full model number? For example, AN515-54?

    (3) How long have you had laptop?

Press WIN+R. Enter 'msinfo32'. The model number should be in the right pane.

repair shop > said its the cpu and it has some electrical contact.>

Ask the repair shop to re-flow the CPU solder contacts with a heat gun. This might fix the broken CPU contacts.
