Hi everyone I would like to know what's the deal about the external display situation.

I have a bunch of questions since there is no dedicated display port or usb 4 -

Does the laptop have HDMI 2.0 or HDMI 2.1
Is there any way to run 1440p monitor at 165hz over the HDMI port or is it capped to 144hz
Are there any tested widescreen resolutions which would work over the port?
If there is a bottleneck with the port is there any way to have display port capabilities using adapters via usb c 3.2 gen 2 ports or some other pcie nvme connectors? Like the ones used for a eGPU dock.
Are there any compatible lat HDMI 240hz monitors

Yes, 1 x HDMI 2.1 port
No USB video out ports

If the 2nd QHD monitor really supports 165Hz RR Windows will work at 165 Hz, otherwise at 144Hz or lower.

I was asking for external Monitors support not the ones that are baked in with eDP port.

Like will I be able to run ultrawide monitors lime Samsung Odessey G5 Ultra

Hi I wanted if I can run ultrawide monitors like Samsung Odessey G5 Ultrawide which are usually 3440 / 3880 x 1440p at 165hz but I have read online people facing issues because of the port not being able to run over 100hz because of port issues etc.

Already replied: If the 2nd QHD monitor really supports 165Hz RR Windows will work at 165 Hz with a HDMI 2.1 cable connected to your HDMI 2.1 port, otherwise at 144Hz or lower. No 100Hz limit port issues with a proper high-quality HDMI 2.1 cable to your HDMI 2.1 port. Make sure your GPU drivers are up to date, you have the latest BIOS version 1.11, and Windows11 22H2 is updated to build 22621.2506.
