I have a Swift SF314-511. The fingerprint reader was working fine until recently it stopped working.

Have updated the driver for the fingerprint reader. Windows Hello is turned on.

Any help is appreciated.

uninstall the driver and try the below step

Go to Acer driver support and download the driver for Fingerprint reader, save it in the Desktop, then go to Device manager, expand Biometric devices, right click sensor and uninstall the driver, then reinstall the driver you already have downloaded

What does Device Manager show? If there is an error, which error is it? Can you show us a picture of that?
