My Acer Predator is running games with unplayable amount of lag

My Acer Predator is running games with unplayable amount of lag. This has only just started occurring. Nothing new installed, Predator sense is not showing any huge demand on CPU or GPU, games just run like [Content Removed]?

    well, the model would help and amount of time you have, had it? do you do any or all windows updates and component updates also?

    What else is running? Usually that type of issue can be traced to something in the background taking up too many resources. If you gave us info as to which model you have, your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like POxxx-xxx-xxxx, we would be more likely to provide better help. How much memory do you have? What type and size of drives? Which GPU is installed? What OS are you running? What do you have for an antivirus?
