Chromebook Spin 514 won't power up when lid opened

My chrome book Spin 514, won't power up when lid opened, also very diificult to power up using power button. Usually need to conect to mains power to get to work, any ideas

It would help a lot to have the full model number. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like CP514-xxx-xxxx.
