Hello, I have an Spin 3 (SP315-51-79NT) When I connect a second monitor the laptop screen goes black but the touch still works. I'm trying to have the laptop screen stay on, and use the 2nd monitor next to it. Is there a setting to allow that to happen or maybe something in BIOS? My end goal is to have two monitors connected but I can't seem to get one to work

@AnhEZ28 I will try that shortly. It that something I'd use Win + P for?

It's weird because when I plug in the 2nd display, it doesn't even detect two screens in Display Settings or device manager. It's like it only wants to display 1 at a time.

  • Try pressing fn+f5.

Yes, Fn-F5 on your system toggles between internal, external and both screens. Once you have both displaying use the Win-P to set the external to Extend.
