Using Predator Helios neo 16 as a desktop I need a way to power it on without opening the lid

Hello,

I've been using my Predator Helios Neo 16 as a desktop, however, I need a way to power it on without opening the lid, and without the whole wake-up thing.

Some laptops, such as Dell have this feature where you can turn on the laptop by simply plugging it in

Acer does not have that feature like Dell laptops do, to use a closed laptop with an external monitor like a desktop, you need to look at this guide and basically do the below, btw I'm using a Nitro AN515-56 laptop (and have used laptops this way for years) and it works perfectly:

To use an external monitor with a closed laptop, you need to:

• Connect the external monitor to your laptop using a cable that matches the ports of both devices.
• Open the Control Panel and go to Hardware and Sound, then Power Options.
• Click on Choose what closing the lid does from the left pane.
• Select Do nothing for both battery and plug-in options under When I close the lid.
• Save the changes and close the laptop lid. Your external monitor should display your laptop's content.
