I have a predator helios 300 ph315-51. I got a new dog and he gnawed on my charger so I had to buy a new one but I couldn't find a charger that matched the exact specifications of my old charger.

My old charger had an input of 100-240V ~ 1.9A 50-60HZ

and an output of 19V = 7.1A

While my new charger has an input of 100-240V ~ 2.5A 50-60HZ

and an output of 19V = 7.1A

I haven't really noticed any changes but I'm still wondering if it is okay for me to continue using this charger.

Hi @Yajukareem there is no problem, the new charger supports more amperage (2.5A) so it supports more charging intensity which will translate into less heating of the charger itself, you should not worry.

    Thank you.
    All the best.
