almost new Swift 3 Sf314-512 won't turn on

I have a Swift 3, model Sf314-512. Had it running flawlessly for less than a month.

After leaving it running overnight, I woke up to find it off. Every time I try to power on, the two blue LED indicators turn on (blue) for about seconds, then turns off. The LED keyboard lights up too during this time. I also tried connecting it to a working HDMI monitor, and nothing shows up there either.

I went through various posts here on the community to try to get it to power up and tried the battery reset button on the back (held for a few seconds, 30 seconds, and 60 seconds), made sure the battery is fully charged, removed all peripherals, held the power button down for a few seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds, etc. Let it sit for 5 minutes, didn't work. I opened up the back plate, disconnected the battery connector, waited 30 min, tried it again without plugging it in, didn't work, tried the same but plugging it in with the original USB-C charger, didn't work, tried it again after it charged it to blue, didn't work. I disconnected it, left it overnight, plugged in battery cable and then USB-C, and it came back to life! For two days it worked flawlessly again. But after not using the laptoo for a few days, it is not starting up again. I tried the same procedure but this time it didn't work.

I bought it in Canada but am in France for a few months so I can't easily return it, how should I proceed? Any other troubleshooting I can try?

I recommend bringing your Swift laptop to Acer Services in France for checking, it may be a hardware issue, warranty is international:

Do a proper Hard Reset of your laptop, as you have done just half a reset, take the (10) screws off the back cover, then take the main battery out, disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery and short its mainboard plug + & - pins with a paper clip or a flat screwdriver, leave the laptop like that for 1 hour, reassemble all components and reboot your laptop, as it should boot perfectly after this reset.

What this reset does it resets a frozen Super IO chip, the BIOS chip and CMOS and the Chipset chip completely which command all the functions of your laptop including the power On/Off function. If this hard reset doesn’t work then you have problems with those chips or some circuitries within the power stages of your laptop, and you will need to send your laptop to Acer Tech Support in Canada.

One thing that worries me is that you have taken this laptop apart which could void your 12 months Acer warranty, as you should have sent your laptop to Acer Tech Support without trying to fix it yourself.
