I have 2 Acer EB321HQU C monitors both connected via HDMI to the same graphis card. However, in Windows 11 one monitor has a resolution of 2560x1440(59.95hz) and one has a resolution of 2048x1152 (60Hz) and Windows will not let me up the 2nd monitor's resolution. Why are they not the same and how do I change the second one to a higher resolution please?

What GPU card model do you have? Does the card have two identical HDMI output capabilities? Are the HDMI cables identical? What happens if you switch outputs?

Thank you for your response. I've rechecked my cables / graphics card etc. and that helped me find the problem. 1 monitor was connected via HDMI and one was connected via DP. So I've ordered a new DP cable for the lower res monitor. Thanks again.

Thanks for reporting back that you found the cause. Good luck with the new cable. 🙂
