I came home yesterday and my screen had strange pixels that weren't there earlier. I tried turning from 165hz to 60hz and my screen tears even harder.

  • hello! Can you provide the computer model? Example: AN515-55-5890. Is your computer still under warranty? If it's not under warranty, I would try disconnecting the lithium battery and the edp cable, to see if that solves the problem.

Also look at the splash screen that shows up when you first turn the monitor on. If the artifacts are in the splash screen there's a problem with the monitor itself. If not then the issue is likely your cable.
