Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52 || Upgrade SSD - How many slots do I have ?

I want to upgrade my HDD to SSD with Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series - 1TB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM).

Acer Care centre app says I already have 2 drives, (250gbSSD-Cdrive and 1TBHDD-Ddrive), I want to upgrade to play Starfield.

Does this model have the M2 Slot ?

2. Is there a 3rd Slot or I have to replace my C-SSD or D-HDD Drive ?

3a. If I replace my D-HDD Drive than can data can be retained somehow ?

3b. If I replace my C-SSD drive to 1TBSSD, how does OS installation works ? Win10 came installed with the laptop, I don't have any keys or anything.

Also what's the difference between these two SSD drives and which one should I buy ? Any other company make suggestions ?

If you upgrade to the Samsung 970 Plus PCIe3x4 it will fit your laptop perfectly and is one of the best M.2 SSD drives you can fit to this laptop, fit it as a boot drive as this M.2 drive is quick and of good quality. With the Samsung 970 Plus M.2 drive use the Samsung Data Migration software to clone (transfer your boot drive) competley to this new drive so that your old boot drive can be replaced and the 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus MZ-V7S1T0 drive can be used as a new boot drive, don't use the old drive when you boot the new boot cloned drive at tghe same time, as the laptop will always boot with the old drive irrespective if it in SSD1 or SSD2 slots.

Note: The differences between the Samsung 970 EVO Plus MZ-V7S1T0 and the Samsung 970 EVO Plus MZ-V7S1T0B/AM that they are basically the same and are both NVMe M.2 Internal SSDs with a capacity of 1TB.
