So, i have an Acer helios 500 from 2021, i noticed it started running really hot, like, the thermal readings while idle were 80 to 90, and while using the unity editor it could reach 100 and start freezing, so i opened it up and, surprise, the thermal block was lose, upon closer inspection i found that the nuts on the right side to which the block screws into were lose, this is because those nuts aren't actually soldered to the MOBO but rather glued to it, i tried superglue and letting it cure and all of that as well as some epoxy used to fix car mufflers but to no avail, anyone knows how to fix this ? soldering was a no go either as there is no metal for the nut to be soldered into around the nut holes, so, I'm kinda running out of actions short of just buying a new computer, but like, i paid for this less than 2 years ago, this is nuts (pun intended), why wouldn't they have the nuts soldered to the MOBO like the other 3 that are already there !?
