my goal is to have 4 external monitors. i found this on amazon within my budget.

the docking station charges upto 100w, so thats good, correct?

the docking station has and ethernet port. right now i have my cable going right into my laptop. once i install this docking station will the ethernet signal also transfer through the USB c into the laptop?

i am just confused as how the ethernet signal travels to the laptop.

if this is how it works, will the speed be slower vs directly plugged into my laptop?
