When watching downloaded Netflix movies offline I notice the audio is not in synch with the speakers lips.

Is the acer just underpowered?

Thoughts?

The Chromebook Spin CP713-3W that you have has a good Wi-Fi 6 - 2.4/5Ghz (160Hz) with BT v5.2 card, which is the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 Gig+ with bands of: 2.4, 5 GHz, (160MHz) max speed of 2.4 Gbps and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), which shouldn't be a problem with the Wi-Fi hardware connection of your Chromebook laptop, as where the problem could be most likely, is from the following issues, so check these issues in this order:

    • Slow internet connection - check your modem and provider speeds.
    • Streaming service issues - check the speeds of your web browser.
    • Internet connection issues - check your modem.
    • Browser issues - reinstall browser, MS Edge is a known culprit for bad connections and synch issues, so avoid using MS Edge
    • Inappropriate sound settings - check you laptops audio settings
    • Old audio drivers - check with google about audio issues, as Acer does not support Chrome OS and has no driver for this OS.

To be clear. I am watching movies while Not connected to the internet. I downloaded the movies prior and watch them on a flight, etc .

I do have all updates. I'll check max movies but think
