Although if you can't access the bios, I'd either leave the laptop on and just wait, or send it out to be repaired somewhere

If you can access the bios, and can boot to a usb, then I'd say make a Windows 10/11 usb with the installation media provided by microsoft. You will have to have an external device to do so though.

Windows update is probably installing the system files and firmware which can take hours, trying to cut off the power or force an abort by pressing the Power Button 5 seconds or more only makes the waiting longer or can even brick the laptop. Leave it alone overnight with the power adapter plugged in. If the next morning the screen is the same, it hangs (system crash) and you need to either bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country to reset the system to factory defaults or try to boot to BIOS with F2 and reset BIOS with F9, save on exit and reboot, but chances are it will go in Repair mode or continue to update.

Do you have a external drive? Like a usb, for example? Do you have a device that can allow writing to the usb drive and can download a new iso for windows? If so, I suggest using Windows 10 or 11's installation media, to create an iso, and then apply the ISO onto the usb drive or external drive with rufus. You want to boot into your acers bios [Mine is the f2 key] on boot, you will definitely have to plug in the laptop, and then reinstall your particular version of windows with that. You can ask me more questions if needed. Good luck!
