How do I get to a real person in support?

I bought a new Spin 513 on Amazon. Given I was moving from the Windows OS and I was having a little difficulty. Included with the laptop there was a flyer with a message promising help and support with getting started. The number leads to an automated attendant and before I could speak to anyone I had to enter my SNID#. I got the number off the label on the back of the machine and I was told that my unit, which was purchased new on Amazon a few d once again toldays earlier.

So I tried to get help online and before I could move forward I was prompted once again for SNID#. I enterd the number and the webpage returned a message stating the unit was out of warranty. Starting to get a little angry at this point but I pressed on. I then tried using the auto detect feature to retrieve the SNID#. I downloaded and installed the software and when I ran it it returned an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SNID#.

So I tried using that number... and the same result!

I am nearly at my wits end. I tried using the acer support pop to see if I could get some sort of help. I responded with all the info by copying the details from Aamazon purchase. I submitted the information. This morning I received an email stating they need more info inorder to confirm my purchsase.

    Hi @geekest1,

I am very sorry to hear this, unfortunately, the Acer Community is not a direct portal to Customer service, the Acer Forum Discussions were designed as a peer-to-peer support community where Acer users help other Acer users. Many Acer employees (Moderators), read the various topics posted here and you will notice that some Acer employees interact with members when appropriate, primarily we want the community to be a place where members can exchange their own advice and ideas.

Only your local support services can help you with this, the community is not an escalation channel, unfortunately.

Sorry for any inconveniences this has caused you,
