I've just bought this laptop. I've installed the ssd, and when I start, I see the ssd in bios in the menu Information.

I go to boot, and the Boot Mode is disabled, it is grey an I can't change it into Legacy. There is no other option anywhere to enable something related to it.

So both my ssd are blank, they do not show up in boot, nor when I put a usb stick with windows. The installer does not see any drives.

How can I enable the Boot Mode so I could select Legacy?

Thank you.

The issue is resolved. I've put rst drivers on the usb with the windows installer. Then during instalation when the it did not find any drives, I loaded the driver and then it sau the ssd.

I don't believe that you have Windows OS installed on your boot drive, A UEFI MOBO does not have the legacy option in BIOS. Secure boot is for Windows security after you have installed Windows. IMO you need to boot with a USB stick that has Windows11 ISO image on it and install that on your boot drive. See if your BIOS has the F12 key option, enable that and check the boot menu to enable boot from USB. Did you format the new SSD as GPT/UEFI in Disk Management?

I put the stick with the windows 11 instalation. When it did not find any drives, I click on load driver and installed the driver mentioned(first I downloaded it with another computer and put it on the stick). I did not find any specific driver for samsung or wd; I've installed the intel one. Then setup continued with the drives, it saw them. Still UEFI still no other option. No problem now, everything works fine.

    Both ssd are NVME 4
