I recently got my laptop's display replaced under warranty due to white patches and the process itself took a tideous amount of time and involved unnecessary hassles. Now after getting it replaced, I noticed that the replaced display produces washed out colors and feels 144hz feels sluggish. The laptop initially came with BOE "NV156FHM-N4K V3.2" and now it has been replaced with PANDA "LM156LF2F01" , though both are FHD and has 144hz refresh rate but I also face the following issues,

  1. New display has only 45% of NTSC coverage opposed to 72% of NTSC.
  2. New display has 25 typ. G to G response time opposed to 3.8.
  3. Both has 144hz of refresh rate but the new one feels very sluggish.
  4. Due to a Dip in NTSC value the new display looks completely washed when compared to the old one.

Laptop Model : Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58

SKU : AN515-58/GN20P04GBCKKL/51250H/8G/F512GS/WNHCSL64

Is there any way that I can seek for a replacement ?

Call Acer support and tell them how the replacement screen look like and they might be able to help you.

But some times in the repair center if they dont might not have the exact part for replacement. But call ACer and check with them once.

Called for Acer support and dropped an email as per the instructions…and there were multiple conversations but they don't seem to accept it and the reply was that it is obvious when replacement of the display is done then it may not match the perfomance / clarity of the stock display". Really ?
