Acer Aspire 5 Widows 11 external speakers get turned off after a few seconds of not playing a sound

Hi, when I play no sound in the system, after a short while the speakers (connected on a 3.5mm connector) get turned off and when the sound starts playing again there's a short delay and there's this sound the speakers make when turned on again.

This drives me crazy and I'd like to keep the speakers turned on constantly but can't find any settings for it. I have another laptop by another brand with Windows 10 and this doesn't happen so I'm sure it has something to do with this specific computer/system. Any help is appreciated.

Before sounds starts playing again, right click speaker icon in tray. Click open sounds settings. Click sound control panel in right pane. Post a screenshot of box that pops up if possible.
