My swift 5, 515-51T-73TY does not boot

I closed my laptop while it was on, like I do all the time, but this last time it would not boot. When I press the start button, nothing happens other than the status light on the side turning on(blue) and never shutting down.

If a press the shut-off button for over 30 secs the light shuts down. If I repeat the process, no change. I've also tried the battery reset button, connect power cable after 30 , battery charging light goes orange. If I press start, again blue light goes on but nothing else.

Any ideas much appreciated!

Make sure to wait for the full charge indication (blue light) after the battery reset before turning it on. Also verify it gives the normal short beep at the end of POST. If that doesn't happen maybe POST isn't running. If it does happen then we're likely looking at a display issue. For a display issue you can test using an external monitor usually.
