Hello,

my acer nitro 5 has a screen issue, the pixels in the bottom of the screen are slowly dying and I don't know what to do, sometimes they just go back to normal and when I start the pc, before I get to the log in screen they look like they are functioning normally. I think is a software issue.

Can anyone help to solve the issue?

Try an external monitor if you see the same thing, it is a GPU issue. Also Boot in Safe mode or Safe Boot with Base Video, if your screen is fine in Safe Mode you have to uninstall the display drivers in Safe Mode with DDU (browse this forum) and just reboot with the internet on. If only the laptop screen has that pixel problem both in Safe/Boot mode than there could be a damaged panel cable/plug issue, or your screen is failing. In that case I recommend bringing your laptop to Acer Services in your country to check the screen and replace the panel if so required.
