Acer Aspire a715-42g bad design there is a line between the keys and the mouse pad.

I bought my laptop at the end of 2021. I have not used it much.

My laptop is an Acer Aspire a715-42g with processor AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics 1.80 GHz, Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.3 GB usable), and System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor.

The design of this model was not well thought/planned. The support on the frame to separate the screen from the keyboard when closed are not the right size. On the side of the keyboard, there is a line between the keys and the mouse pad, due to the poor support on the frame, this line was marked on the screen. Another way to prove this is that the keys from the keyboard get marked on the screen if there is a little dust.
Has anyone else experimented with this same problem? Or was it just me?

I always keep the thin sheet of foil that came with my laptop between the screen and the KB when closing the lid. Any thin, soft material will do. Try to open the lid in the middle to avoid misalignment of hinges and keep the KB absolutely dust free with a soft brush.

The Aspire A715-42G is a multimedia laptop released in 2022 and was also only released for certain Asian markets at between the prices of USD $735.65 to its top end version at USD $1125. I don't know what exact spec Aspire A715-42G you have, but by what reviewers have said, is that the design of this laptop is pretty solid, and they all say that its chassis is able to withstand a good amount of physical stress, I don't know what stresses you put your laptop through?

From the tests of this laptop its true advantage of this laptop, is its processor and the fact that it manages to drag the GTX-1650 gpu at the same pace, as the model with the 45W TDP Ryzen 5 4600H which and moreover, the low TDP of the ULV CPUs, actually results in significantly lower noise levels, as the laptop is practically silent during day-to-day use and also extends battery life. If you have the 60Hz refresher rate screen then you are stuck with this low refresher rate, as it can't be upgraded, but if you got the 144Hz refresher rate screen that has the 40 pin video connector, then there is an upgrade to the higher quality 165Hz screen model, see here N156HRA-EA1 REV.C1 for availability and the upgrade option to the 165Hz refresher rate screen, which is about USD $100.00 and will give you far superior image quality.

@framonet dust and marks on the screen are common for many laptops, even the MacBook still suffers from this problem. I think the LCD is so thin that they have to make the palm rest even with the surrounding cover to prevent flexing and breaking the LCD from pressure against the top cover of the laptop.

To prevent this, you can use a thin cloth and cover the keyboard when you close the laptop's lid.
