hi everyone, i just reinstalled windows for my acer nitro, i discovered that when i plug in the wired headset, the laptop doesn't receive it and only receives it when i plug in the headset from before turning on the machine, while my bluetooth headset has no problem. Hope everyone in the community can help me find the cause and fix it, thanks a lot!

When you insert a 3.5mm RCA audio plug in the laptop audio port you should get a Windows prompt asking what are you inserting with a choice of 3 devices Headset, phone or external speakers. If you don't see that Windows message your RCA audio plug is not compatible, try a different headset with a different plug or an adapter, here is a picture with different RCA plugs:

If you have Realtek audio speakers, you also have to open the RTK audio console and select headset in the devices after the Windows message.

@Jackma make sure that you get the audio driver installed and the Realtek Audio Console installed.
