Predatorsense doesn't work properly. PSSvc absent from task manager services tab. PH-16-71-72YG

Whenever I restart my laptop, PS refuses to work properly. It won't run the correct (or actually any) mode and pressing the mode switch button doesn't do anything. I get it fixed by opening the task manager and then looking for PS and ending task. Then I can press the PS button on my keyboard and it magically works. I have to do this every time I reboot my laptop, it's kinda annoying…

I read that reinstalling PS should help, so I did exactly that. I uninstalled it, downloaded the latest version from acer drivers website and the issue persists.

Some people also mentioned that fiddling with PSSvc in services tab fixes the issue. The problem is that I don't even have it when I try to look for it in services tab. I don't think it even exists in my laptop anymore. If I go to Details in task manager and then right-click on PS and select 'go to services' it goes to the services tab but doesn't highlight anything there (so I guess it can't find it). Curiously, I can see PSSvc running in the Processes tab lol

I think the absence of PSSvc service is the main reason why I keep doing this ritual whenever I boot my laptop. Any ideas how to get PSSvc back in services?

Got a new update of the app in Microsoft Store and it sort of got fixed. On a rare occasion it might refuse to work, but in general it's much better

1)Uninstall Predator Sense service from control panel
2)open cmd as administrator and type command -
lodctr /R
(R must be in capital letters exact how i written)
3)After typing above command press enter then close CMD and download, install Predator Sense from acer driver site- https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/drivers-and-manuals?utm_source=community&utm_medium=sidesideicons&utm_campaign=assistancebyacer
(Try command 2-3times if doesn't working or showing error)

I don't see Predator Sense service in the control panel. The only thing I can uninstall is Predator Sense Installer. I uninstalled that and followed your steps and also restarted the system. Didn't help unfortunately.

On a side note, if I right-click the PSSvc that I see in processes in task manager and select 'Go to details', it leads to AcerCentralService.exe.

There is no Predator Sense App in the Microsoft store. I also do not have a PSSvc service running with PredatorSense installed and it is NOT working. I don't believe that having to go through all this is the answer, since it was working when I first got the machine. It would be nice if Acer would help us troubleshoot this issue or give us an updated app.

Exact same thing, and Predator Sense is working in every way now after downloading the updated driver for a different model. PHN16-72 instead of the buggy one for my Acer Predator PHN16-7173LT. It's apparently a software issue with Acer that they have not address. I still can't get my RGB Keyboard lighting to work again though, may be hardware.
