I recently replaced my PC with a laptop for college which I picked up the Acer Aspire 7 A715-43G-R05G with the specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5500U
RAM: Single Channel 8GB DDR4 3200Mhz
GPU: GTX 1650 4GB
SSD: 512GB

(I am in fact considering to get dual channel for my RAM.)

Then I did some performance testing on games like Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, it seems to be unable to hit 60 FPS with the lowest setting possible, it only runs with 35 - 40 FPS at most. Even with super light title like Roblox, I ran demanded games inside of Roblox but still couldn't perform as good as my old PC.

In the temperature case, it idles at 39°C - 40°C, while gaming it is 55°C for my CPU and roughly 50°C for my GPU. (Room temperature is either 28°C - 30°C, because I live in a tropical region.)

My old PC still performs better than the laptop with these kinds of spec:
CPU: Core i5-3570
RAM: Dual Channel 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz
GPU: GTX 750Ti
SSD: 256GB

My old PC still beats my laptop with better performance oddly enough.

And yes, I had all the drivers installed to the latest, even putting the battery mode to performance mode. Even though my laptop outperforms my PC in all aspect, including RAM. It still couldn't execute the performance I was looking for, was it because of the built-in Optimus?

Update: I reinstalled and update my drivers, made it even worse. The game now went from 35-40 FPS down to dog piled 22-25FPS (Monster Hunter World: Iceborne) while running at the lowest settings.

I also ran into this problem where my startup kept on opening but I have already DISABLED them.

Edit: I forgot to add that I have to download the driver in a different way, by going to the ProgramData>NVIDIA Corporate>Downloader way to download, If I did it the regular way, NVIDIA would've just said, "NVIDIA Installer cannot continue". Yes, temperatures are fine, everything else is fine. I even disabled NVIDIA's Battery Boost but to no avail.

I'm very frustrated right now. I've only used this laptop for lesser than a week or so and already ran into troubles.

Update 2: The website is dog *****. I lost my comment post after an edit and have to re-type everything.
Update 1: I did everything I could, re-installed, updates driver but to my surprised, that didn't do anything but drained my fps down from 35 - 40 FPS to a dog piled 22 FPS in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.

Temperature, 55°C while benchmarking. Idle Temp is at: 37°C
I even disabled NVIDIA Battery Boost but that didn't do anything. I am fuming right now.

Even ran into multiple problems such as:
    - DISABLED Start Up applicants but still opening while the options are in fact, DISABLED. READ.
    - Unable to update the NVIDIA Driver in a regular human being way. Have to install them via the method of going to ProgramData>NVIDIA Corporate>Downloader method, I did a CLEAN INSTALLATION.

I starting to regret choosing this product, I'm simply just frustrated that I couldn't get things working the way I wanted on this laptop.
