Can I use this thread to ask a related question?

I have a Predator Helios 300 G3-572-70MG and I am also looking to upgrade my 128GB ssd which came along. I've seen in this review that the M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD is Intel’s 600P series with only 512GB capacity, but I've also seen in this other topic in this forum that it supports more than 512GB, so I'm not sure if I can also buy a 1TB+ SSD or not, could someone carify that for me?

Also, just to be sure, my laptop wouldn't have a second SSD slot to add without having to replace the current one, is that correct?

The Predator Helios 300 G3-572-70MG has an M.2 slot that can use either an interface type PCIe NVMe or a SATA III M.2 SSD drive, this laptops Media data transfer rate theoretically from 540MB/s (SATA III M.2 SSD) and up to max 2800MB/s PCIe 3x2, so this laptop has a max M.2 drive speed of the PCIe 3 x2 interface or you can fit a mid-range speed M.2 PCIe 3 x4 drive of a read/write speed of max 2800MB/s. Do not fit a top PCIe3 x4 or Gen 4 M.2 SSD drive, as it will be wasted in this laptop, as this laptop will never ever be able to utilize those speeds.

Note: Capacities are determined by the bios that allows the OS format, in windows OS MBR/Legacy format is limited to 2TB and GUID (GPT) format is theoretically limited to 8 petabytes, which you will never ever achieve😁.

Thanks for your answer Steven, it was really clarifying.

So, just to be 100% sure, could this could be a good fit for my laptop as it does not have such higher difference in data transfer rate from my interface (didnt really find a 2800MB/s piece)?

Also, about my second question, I just wanted to be sure I only have one M.2 slot so I cannot have 2 SSDs and would have to replace my current one, right?

That Kingston NV2 is a Gen 4 PCIe M.2 drive and its backward compatible and will work with your laptop, your Predator G3-572 laptop only has 1x M.2 SSD slot and provisions for 1x 2.5" SATA 3 mechanical or SSD drive, that is all the drives that this laptop can have.
