Connecting two monitors to new Nitro N50-650

Hi all - I bought a new desktop (clearly an Acer Nitro) for my son, and we are trying to unsuccessfully connect two monitors to the unit, which only has a single HDMI port on the back.

Latest action is to order a docking station with dual HDMI ports to then connect to the unit via USBC on the front - is this the correct solution or is there something else I'm missing?

Thanks in advance!

which only has a single HDMI port on the back.

Did you purchase it with an optional discrete GPU card? Makes a difference. This particular model doesn't natively support alternate mode video output from the data-only USB-A or USB-C ports without an active USB-to-video signal converter or dock. Most cheap converters are actually passive USB-to-video connector adapters that won't do the job on data-only USB ports

If you're not sure if you have a GPU card installed, press WIN+R. Enter msinfo32. Expand components folder in left pane. Click display subfolder. GPUs installed should be in right pane. Post screenshot if possible.
