Hi to everyone,

After the announcement of the windows 10 end updates assistances, I'm wondering what will be the possible negatives consequences of a Windows 11 installation on my Acer E5. There's my currents and most relevant hardware properties:

  • Intel HD 5500 integrated graphics
  • Intel Core i5 5200U
  • Solid State Disk: 1 Tb
  • RAM: 16Gb

This computer don't have the Microsoft requirements for this windows version, however I saw a lot of videos and techniques to complete a clean and successful installation on this kind of computers.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or recommendations!

All the best,

Eufratez

Hey! The problem would be finding drivers compatible with this computer. Additionally, Windows 11 requires the device to have TPM. Of course, it is possible to install Windows 11 on devices without a TPM. But I don't know what the performance would be like.

Now I still prefer to stay on Windows 10. It's a neater operating system, in my opinion.
