Acer aspire a315-55 some keys are giving an extra input. such as typing the key "c" will give "c9"

so the problem affects only a small number of keys. It exists with some numpad keys like 9/pgup, 8, 7/home, insert, right-click key, etc. where a normal key press like s or c will also trigger one of these keys.

  • I have recently opened the laptop and changed my RAM, so maybe there is a loose connection somewhere.
  • I have never spilled any liquid, and the laptop was working perfectly fine a few days ago.
  • tried to reinstall the driver and entering windows safe mode, which did not help.
  • this issue is present even in the BIOS menu.

I am almost certain that this isint a hardware issue, since all the keys are identified properly, and its just that an extra input is added for some reason. I have attached several images of the laptop internals.
