Hi, I have an Acer Nitro N50-610 and I want to upgrade its CPU but need a new mbd in order to do that. I am looking at the Gigabyte GA-B760 GAMING X DDR4 as an option and am wondering if it would fit in the Acer Nitro N50-610 case or if there are any newer mbd's that would fit inside it. Thanks

The Nitro N50-610 has an Acer proprietary motherboard that is not a standard size, measure the board as the N50-610 case can fit a mATX type board, best is to measure the inside and the mounting points.

As you can see the highlighted area below of the board is part of this desktops front panel connectors, so fitting any other board you will need to add new wires for the front panel for the new board. If you intend changing the board a new case would be a much better option to also buy.

Get a new case, the nitro case is terrible for gaming, too small and not enough air flow. Your system will run a lot cooler if you do a case swap, add more fans and upgrade the CPU cooler.
