The part below the letter keys and rubber works fine when I press it with a certain amount of force, allowing the letters "a" and "x" to function smoothly. Unfortunately, the problem reoccurs shortly after. Thank you to everyone who can offer assistance. This issue has been occurring for approximately five months, starting from the first few instances of my computer overheating.

Model Name: A315-59
Product Name : Aspire A315-59
Part Number: NX.K6SAA.001

It is a plastic rubber cup (not a spring) that controls the key and probably got hot and lost its elasticity:

Another possibly is dirt accumulated under the key that you can try to remove with a strip of strong paper or a paper-thin split bamboo toothpick but don't force the key up too much as will pop off.

Is your Aspire A315-59 still under warranty, as you should have taken this keyboard problem and claimed it under warranty 5 months ago, as Acer would have replaced the keyboard or upper case & keyboard, as the keys should not be doing this or having a problem like this after a few months. If your laptop is under warranty send it or take it to Acer in your area and get Acer to fix this keyboard problem for you.

There is no rubber cup on it nor letter piece for the metal that holds it broke.

Bring your laptop to Acer Services in your country and have the keyboard replaced.

    1. Check for debris: Dust, dirt, or debris can interfere with the connection between the key and the keyboard sensor. Turn off your computer or disconnect your keyboard, and then gently clean around the "C" key using a can of compressed air or a soft brush.
    2. Remove and clean the keycap: If the issue persists, you may need to remove the keycap to clean it more thoroughly. Use a keycap puller or a small, flat tool to carefully lift off the keycap. Clean both the keycap and the exposed area underneath using a mild cleaning solution and a soft cloth. Make sure everything is dry before reattaching the keycap.
    3. Check the keyboard connections: Sometimes, loose connections can cause key responsiveness issues. If your keyboard has a detachable cable, unplug it and then plug it back in firmly. For wireless keyboards, ensure that the batteries are properly inserted and have sufficient charge.
    4. Test the key in different applications: Check if the issue is specific to certain applications or if it occurs system-wide. Open a text editor or word processor and type some "C" characters to see if they register consistently. If the issue persists across different applications, further troubleshooting may be needed.
    5. Update keyboard drivers: Outdated or incompatible keyboard drivers can affect key performance. Visit the manufacturer's website or use the device manager to check for any available driver updates. Install any updates and restart your computer if necessary.
    6. Consider professional repair: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there might be a hardware problem with the keyboard itself. In this case, it may be best to seek professional assistance from a computer repair technician who can diagnose and fix the underlying problem.

Remember, always exercise caution when working with electronic devices, and if you're unsure about any step, it's advisable to consult a professional.
