Can I get a repair on my out of warranty X34 Predator monitor?

I have been the proud owner of an X34 Predator since 1/1/2016. I know there is no warranty remaining for my product. Unfortunately this afternoon the monitor was the weak point in a power surge at my home and the display port is no longer functioning. Yes I have diagnosed different cables, display ports on my graphics card etc. I truly would love to have this monitor repaired and refurbished as I am just attached to it like no product I have owned before. Is this possible to be done? I would also not mind if there is such a thing as upgrading any internal hardware as needed so long as I can maintain this monitor. I just love this unit and am heartbroken after the surge today. Thanks for any information/help in advance.

If its just the display port then these ports are a standard thing that any experienced technician with the proper microscopic soldering tools will be able to change and do the job, monitors are not very hard to fix if you can get parts, and looking at the Predator X34 monitors SG there are allot of parts that Acer has part numbers for if your monitor has other things that need changing besides the display port.

Consult Acer in your area and ask directly if they can fix your Predator X34 monitor or if they can't then consult a specialist SmartTv and computer monitor technician in your area, as I'm sure that they will be able to diagnose and fix your X34 monitor if the faulty and appropriate parts are available.

Here is the full list of what Acer lists in the Predator X34 monitor of the parts available:

Different countries have different policies for out of warranty repair. Some have a flat rate, some charge based on the issue, some do not do it at all…

You've had it for over 7 years, you may get it repaired then something else go wrong with it. Put repair money toward a new one. If you like predator monitors so much over other brands, then get a new predator monitor.

You could get attached to a new predator monitor the same, and mend your broken heart, aaah.💖
