Aspire S7-391 Windows won't boot from USB I was getting "no bootable device"

Hi, I have an Aspire S7-391. I was getting "no bootable device", it was suggested to me that this would be driven by hard drive failure so I have replaced. I have a Windows 8.1 ISO image I am trying to use but get the message "there isn't enough memory to create a ramdisk device". Can someone please help, should I cut my losses and replace it or is this a relatively simple uncostly fix?

Your laptop is already10 years old and beyond any support or upgrading options, you really should replace it with a new Windows11 laptop.

Can you get to any form of booted environment or is it stuck before that?

Could try to boot an Ubuntu iso see if it's the motherboard which has gone, or windows just complaining

I'm not really that techy, I can get into BIOS, and when I tried loading using windows 8.1 ISO image got that error, I can't see another way to boot.

Install Win-10 and use the Win-8 25 digit key that your Aspire S7-391 has, as you can still upgrade to Win-10 for free with your Win-8 key. Your laptop will work perfectly with Windows 10, make sure that you upgrade to the last bios Version 2.18 and then install Win-10 as all the driver updates from Windows Update and the Intel Driver and Support Assistant will install all the drivers that you need to run this laptop perfectly on Win-10 OS

Btw, I've done the same to an Aspire V3-571G that had Win-8 with the 3rd Gen i7-3610QM CPU and I'm running 8GB (2x4GB DDR3-1866MHz ram modules) and my Aspire works perfectly with Win-10 Pro, so if you can't upgrade to a new laptop with Win-11 use this laptop as its perfectly fine, download the Win-10 .ISO from that link and then make a bootable 8GB USB with Rufus so that you can install Win-10 onto your Aspire S7-391 laptop.
