how to reset bios without ram So I enabled XMP.

So i enabled XMP. now my system just screams at me. no way to disable it since i cant load bios settings.

board is b66h6-ad2 … how do i reset it manually?

    found it.. so if anyone else gets xmp enabled rams and makes the same mistake i did, assuming you can go ahead and turn it on..

    there is a bios 1-2, 2-3reset jumper located at the bottom right side of the board. yes right behind the video card so you have to unscrew the mount and remove your video card to get at it.

    just dumb acer.

    Yup, they don't really want to make it easy to reset. It's enough that they show on the board where to do it. You don't want to enable XMP unless all your memory is XMP type memory… They really shouldn't allow it unless they detect the right stuff, but then they get lots of complaints about how it doesn't work. :)
