Acer Aspire 3 A315-15 Laptop having issues with booting, battery and USB ports

I use an Acer Aspire 3 A315-15 laptop and for a long time it has been working well.
That was until about a year ago when the laptop started turning off randomly when it was off the charger. It continued doing this for a while but stopped at some point. That was until it continued again but this time it would turn off even in sleep mode. I tried reinstalling Windows multiple times but the issue still persisted.I have come to the conclusion that it is a battery issue but I'm still not 100% sure.

My laptop also has a problem of taking a LONG time to turn on and I don't mean boot up, it uses an SSD and load times are fast but I specifically mean that it takes turn to actually turn on. When I press the power button the laptop 'turns on' - as in connected usb devices turn on but the LED indicator is off and there is no output and spamming the power button or removing and putting the charger back on doesn't work. It does eventually turn on but that takes time, although holding the power button seems to help, it is very inconsistent and I can't be sure if that is actually true.
It also takes a long time to enter the UEFI BIOS. I try rebooting to BIOS through the Windows recovery menu but whenever I do it takes even longer than it does when starting up normally. It also takes time to wake from sleep sometimes.
It also has an issue where ALL the USB ports don't work in some instances after booting and requires multiple restarts for them to start working again.

Are these problems normal and/or solvable or is a replacement in order?

There is no 315-15 model, but I got from your post that your laptop is several years old (4-5?) and you never mentioned that you changed the battery. So that is the first thing to consider. The USB issue is hardware related and I advise to bring your laptop to Acer Services in your country for a checkup with assessment of possible repair costs, if that exceeds $200 and your laptop is >4 years old you should consider getting a new Windows11 laptop.
