Press Windows key + R and type/paste MSConfig
Click on the Boot tab, check Safe Boot (minimal) and the Base Video boxes, click Apply at the bottom and Restart, check if the screen flickers when you move the laptop. Open a Word or other program that opens with a white screen. If you don't see it now, open MSConfig and on the Boot tab remove the Safe Boot and Base Video check marks and click on Apply. Reboot, now connect an external monitor to your laptop with a long cable and check if the flickering is visible by moving the laptop a little. If you see it on the external monitor too you have a GPU driver issue. Uninstall the display driver in Safe Mode with DDU (from Wagnardsoft.com) and reboot.

Typically when a screen acts up only when moving it the issue can be traced to the wiring between the motherboard and the display. Those wires get flexed every time you open or close the screen, so eventually wear out. Your SF314-55 is just about five years old, so it's not out of line for those types of issues to show up. The cable is:

and replacing it is a fairly major chore, since it requires pulling both the base and the display apart, but it's not technically difficult.
