Acer R240hy blinling colors on loop

kindly help , My monitor Acer R240hy , while working on microsoft word , it started blinking RBG colors. continiously i have attached the picture. kindly help me solve it .

I was using monitor as my secondary display with my laptop. Kindly help me get through this, watched tons of videso , still unable to solve it. Many people who has this monitor ,faced the same issue , however the issue is not resolved yet. I have put this thread . @AcerTechnicalTeam look into it /

Try this procedure to get in and out of factory mode:

• Turn off the Acer monitor and disconnect it from the computer or any other device.
• Locate the control buttons on the monitor. They are usually placed on the front or bottom edge of the monitor.
• Press and hold the "Menu" button on the monitor's control panel.
• While holding the "Menu" button, turn on the monitor by pressing the power button. Keep holding the "Menu" button.
• Continue to hold the "Menu" button until the monitor enters the factory mode. This process may vary depending on the model, but it typically involves seeing a menu or message on the screen.
• Once you are in the factory mode, you can navigate through the options using the other buttons on the control panel. The specific options available in the factory mode will depend on the monitor model.

It looks as if you have already done the first few steps and are already in factory mode, so you should be able to use the menu to get out.

Besides factory mode, have you tried resetting the monitor settings?
