Monitor issue i have overclocked my monitor to 165hz when its a 144hz monitor

hello i have been experiencing severe monitor problems, a quarter of my screen is just showing lines and gets stuck on a screen for a while, I have figured out that when i put a white screen it starts functioning but then when some sort of black colours get on my screen it freezes, i have overclocked my monitor to 165hz when its a 144hz monitor

Typically that type of artifact is caused by a poor quality cable or a cable that is picking up interference. It's possible you are just overdriving the monitor more than it supports though if it's designed with a 144Hz display.
